LION'S CLUB MEMORY SCREENING CAMP

- On occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, Memory Clinic, NIMS Hospital along with ARDSI, Hyd Deccan chapter conducted a memory screening camp as part of Elder's Day celebrations done by Lion's Club Hyderabad.
- Memory Clinic staff as well as ARDSI staff administered the cognitive assessment tool ACE-III in multiple languages such as Indian English, Hindi, Telugu to almost 100 people constituting a majority of senior citizens.
- The people who were screened were given Score sheets with their score on the ACE-III along with a description of their level of cognitive functioning. People who had seemed to have cognitive impairment were given appointments at the Memory Clinic where they could come to get more detailed assessments done.
- Further, people were also provided tips by the assessors on how to maintain a level of good cognitive functioning.
