General Awareness Programme - June 30, 2011
A general awareness program on "Healthy Ageing and Alzheimer's Disease" was conducted by ARDSI Hyderabad Deccan Chapter in association with the SEVABHARATHI Public Charitable Trust at Mothinagar Community hall on 30th June 2011.
Alzheimer's disease is generally prevalent among the elderly population, typically characterized by memory loss and behavioral changes. There is a need to take precaution such as regular exercise and proper diet to prevent the occurence of this disease. The chief guest of the program, Dr. Suvarna Alladi (Additional Professor, Department of Neurology at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences), spoke at length about Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss and preventive measures.
